HAZWOPER “Certifications” – Special Packages the Annual Refresher
Annual Refresher Packages – Introduction
Workers that took the OSHA HAZWOPER 40 hour course 12 months ago need to take an annual refresher. The annual refresher is an OSHA requirement that is 8 hours in length. The annual refresher needs to be finished to keep your 40 hour certification current. The term certification is not technically correct, according to OSHA guidelines, but it is the term most people are familiar with.
We are offering 2 special packages to help workers get their refresher as easily and quickly as possible and to get additional OSHA training at the same time. You may take the 8 hour course with any provider; it does not need to be the same one that taught the 40 hour class.
Special Packages
We have developed some special packages to help people get their annual refresher and additional safety training that they may need on the job.
Our most popular package is the 8 hour HAZWOPER refresher and the OSHA 10 Hour course for General Industry for $119. You save $39 from the regular price of these 2 courses individually. To see specifics on the course, or order this package, click this link: HAZWOPER refresher and OSHA 10 for General Industry.
We also offer the same great price for a package that includes the OSHA 10 hour course for Construction, if you are in the construction industry. To see specifics on the course, or order this package, click this link: HAZWOPER refresher and OSHA 10 for Construction.
OSHA Regulations and Requirements
OSHA requires an annual refresher course of 8 hours of refresher training each year for workers to keep current with the OSHA HAZWOPER 40 Hour requirement. If they do not, workers may be required to take the entire 40 hour course over again to regain this certification.
Many people refer to this as “40 hour certification” or “OSHA HAZWOPER certification.” These terms are technically incorrect because OSHA does not refer to them as “certifications” but these are the terms workers are most familiar with.
