Do the OSHA 10 & 30 Hour courses meet the training requirements set by the OSHA 1910 and 1926 Standards?

Yes, they do.

Has OSHA approved the OSHA Outreach courses?

Yes, OSHA has reviewed the course material and they have accepted it for online usage.  Participants receive the same Department of Labor (DOL) card that is given for taking the live class.

Should I take the 10 Hour or 30 Hour Outreach course?

Every situation is different, but generally, the 10 hour course is for workers and the 30 hour course is for supervisors, foreman and people responsible for setting safety policy for the company or job.

Should I take the OSHA Construction or General Industry Outreach course?

The OSHA 10 & 30 hour construction courses are designed specifically for people in the construction industry.


The General Industry courses are for people in all industries, other than construction.  This course covers a broader range of topics.

What is the difference between the HAZWOPER 40 Hour, 24 Hour and 8 Hour courses?

The 40 hour course is for people that will regularly be working with hazardous materials or be responsible for cleanup of these materials.

 

The 24 hour course if for people that may occasionally come in contact with hazardous materials, such as an area supervisor that will visit a site once in a while.

 

The 8 hour course is the annual refresher that is required to remain current once the other courses have been taken.

 

You should confirm with your company or hiring agency which course you need.

Is there a time restriction on completing the OSHA Outreach course?

OSHA Outreach courses (the OSHA 10 & 30 hour courses) and the surveys must be completed within 6 months. This is an OSHA government requirement.

Must I complete my course in one sitting?

No! You do not have to complete a session in one sitting. At the end of a section, you can log out and when you log back in, all of your information will be saved.

Can I register and pay for an employee or for multiple students?

Yes. OSHA has strict requirements to ensure the person taking the course is the one who registered, therefore, this is typically done with our customer service team.

Who do I call to set up a corporate account?

Are there group discount prices?

Yes, we can offer you a discount for 6 or more people taking the course.  The more people you have, the larger the discount!  To learn more, please call 1-813-293-3283.

How do I go back and reprint my certificate of course completion?

Click on the login button on the top of the page, and log in using your username and password. Click on the certificate icon next to the course title you would like to reprint.  You can print your certificate anytime after finishing the course.

Do you accept any type of financial aid?

No financial aid is available for our courses.

How can I pay for the course?

You can pay for the course by check card or credit card. If you are a corporate client that is signing up multiple students, you can set up a corporate billing account and be invoiced for your purchase at the end of each month.

How do I register for a course?

By clicking the “Enroll Now” or “Buy Now” buttons, you will be taken to our secure shopping cart to complete your purchase.

 

Enter any promo code you have in the Promo Code field and hit the “Update Cart” button.

The system will then guide you through the payment and registration process.

 

The email address you enter is your user name.  You can create your own password.  In order to take a course, you need to have a username and password.

 

Once you have registered, you will receive an email explaining how to log on and start your courses.

I forgot my User Name and Password. What do I do?

If you have forgotten your password, click the “Student Login” button at the top of this page. Then click the "forgot password" link below the student login. Then enter your email address. You should receive an email to your email address stating your password.

I have taken the 10/30 Hour Outreach Training course. When will I receive my OSHA card?

Upon completion of the course, you can get a temporary certificate of completion by calling 1-800-442-1129.  The permanent OSHA 10 & OSHA 30 cards are mailed directly from OSHA. This typically takes 4-8 weeks.  Because it takes OSHA so long to deliver the cards, virtually all jobsites and organizations recognize the certificate of completion as proof of completing the courses.

I lost my 10/30 Hour Outreach Training Completion Card, how do I get another one?

Please contact our customer support team at 1-800-442-1149 to receive a replacement card.

What do I receive when I complete a HAZWOPER course(s)?

You will receive a printable certificate upon successful completion of the HAZWOPER course(s).  The Department of Labor (DOL) does not issue cards like they do for the OSHA 10 & 30 hour courses.

How do I know where I am in the course?

When you are logged in to the course, click on the "My Training" button in the bottom left hand section of the course player. Click on "Outline" to see where you are in the course and to skip around to different sections.
